The “Liquidity Layer” team is developing a non-custodial wallet backend and multi-chain liquidity layer to offer users a native, chain-abstracted experience. This product aims to reduce the complexity of a multi-chain world to onboard the next billion users to crypto.
Role
We aim to bring new user experience standards to the industry and are looking for an experienced and ambitious Product Designer who will be responsible for owning all visuals for the Liquidity Layer. You will create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for dApps, and support our business and marketing units with the required visuals. We expect you to possess expertise in UI/UX, and graphic design with a good understanding of the crypto industry with its best practices. It is valued for the role to have a track record of managing design aspects for Web3 projects. You excel in both solo work and collaborative team environments, are result-oriented, and are comfortable working in a startup-like environment.
Location
Preferably London, UK but open to other locations and remote working. We are looking for candidates who can work in the London Time Zone hours (GMT +/- 3H).
What you will do
- UI/UX Design: Design and iterate on user interfaces for cryptocurrency platforms, wallets, decentralized applications (dApps), and other related projects. Ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience through thoughtful and user-centric design principles.
- Graphic Design: Create sleek and visually compelling graphics, illustrations, and branding materials that align with the project's identity and messaging. Develop design assets for marketing collateral, social media, and promotional materials.
- Utilize the latest tech: Work with AI tools to create on-brand imagery to use in your designs.
- Crypto Industry Knowledge: Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and design patterns within the crypto and blockchain industry. Translate complex blockchain concepts into user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing designs.
- Solo and Team Collaboration: Work independently to deliver designs efficiently and meet deadlines. Collaborate seamlessly with developers, product managers, marketing, and other stakeholders to integrate design solutions effectively.
- Prototyping and User Testing: Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate user flows and design concepts. Conduct or participate in user testing sessions to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
- Adaptability: Adapt quickly to changes in project requirements, industry trends, and emerging design standards within the crypto space.
Requirements
- 10x design skills: Expert in UI/UX design & creating sleek graphics.
- UX guru: Strong empathy for users and ability to structure complex journeys into logical maps.
- High-tech design stack expertise: Highly proficient in tools like Figma, webflow, and AI-based tools.
- 0-1 Ownership: You will own all aspects of design with the expectation of creating any required illustrations yourself (either directly or using AI) rather than outsourcing to another illustrator.
- Effective working style: You must work fast and effectively with a high degree of resourcefulness to get things done with autonomy.
- Adaptability: Willingness to stay up-to-date with industry trends, evolving technologies, and emerging opportunities in the blockchain space.
- Passion for blockchain and decentralized technology: A genuine interest in and passion for blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and decentralized finance, committed to driving innovation and adoption in the space.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: a willingness to take ownership and drive results.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with the web3 space, its UI/UX best practices, user friction points, and UX limitations.
- Experience working with crypto wallets, bridging, and an understanding of Layer 2 solutions and associated user experiences.
- Previous involvement in a blockchain project from conception to launch.
- Experience abstracting blockchain-specific complexities away from the user
- Experience building applications that interact with multiple networks.
