The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. This position requires a blend of blockchain systems knowledge and experience in operationally maintaining the reliability, scalability, and performance of a complex system.

London, UK or Remote (±2 hours of London timezone)
What You’ll Do
- Design and operate foundational infrastructure components used by the OneBalance engineering team in production (e.g. dynamic configuration, secrets storage, container orchestration, etc)
- Write high quality, well tested code to automate integration, delivery, test and observability.
- Help define a long term vision for maintaining and scaling our infrastructure.
- Help design, maintain and execute disaster recovery and security incident procedures across our platform.
- Participate in the monitoring, alerting and initial triage of incidents across our platforms.
- Take ownership over the operational availability of systems.
- Take ownership over load and penetration testing of systems.
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of site reliability engineering or DevOps experience.
- Proven experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services.
- Experience building systems on public cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience creating test infrastructure to evaluate the security and scalability of production systems.
- Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar.
- Experience with observability tools such as Sentry, DataDog, or similar.
- Knowledge of blockchain infrastructure, particularly the Ethereum ecosystem and related technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Have
- Blockchain development experience with a focus on Ethereum.
- Contributions to open source crypto projects
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools
- Knowledge of security best practices in blockchain and cloud environments.
- Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
