We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Research and Advisory Engagement Manager with a background in consulting, banking, or related industries to join our team. In this role, you will focus on the cryptocurrency and MEV space, while also demonstrating familiarity with venture capital investing. Your expertise in collaboration, networking, and investment decision-making will play a crucial role in the success of our organization. Location:
London, UK - Enjoy a hybrid work structure, combining in-office (Liverpool St, London) and remote work. We value in-person collaboration and aim for teammates to spend 3-4 days a week in the office, but we also accommodate remote work periods.
What You'll Do:
- Structure research and advisory engagements: Develop and maintain the structure for research and advisory engagements to ensure the successful delivery of services and alignment with client objectives.
- Identify new clients and build relationships with existing clients: Research and target potential clients, build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, and develop strategies to expand our client base.
- Negotiate engagement contracts and deliverables: Collaborate with clients to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines; negotiate contracts to ensure mutual benefit and success.
- Perform project management: Oversee and manage multiple research and advisory engagements, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to budget.
- Keep track of all projects in the space: Monitor and track the progress of all projects, providing regular updates to stakeholders and ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals.
- Collaborate with researchers on finding relevant research areas: Work closely with our research team to identify and explore new research areas that align with our strategic goals and client needs.
- Hosting events: Organize and host events, such as workshops, seminars, and conferences, to promote our organization and facilitate knowledge sharing among researchers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Making investment decisions: Assess potential investment opportunities, conduct due diligence, and make informed decisions to support the growth and success of the organization.
- Help structure our internal knowledge base: Collaborate with team members to organize and maintain an internal knowledge repository that facilitates easy access to information and encourages knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Manage external communication of our research: Oversee the dissemination of research findings and insights through various communication channels, such as whitepapers, blog posts, webinars, and social media, ensuring that our organization's thought leadership is effectively showcased.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, economics, finance, or a related discipline).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in research, advisory services, consulting, banking, or a related industry.
- Proven track record in project management and client relationship management.
- Existing familiarity with the cryptocurrency and MEV space, as well as venture capital investing.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience managing external communication of research findings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in hosting events and making investment decisions is a plus.
