Community Manager

Frontier Research is an independent research, advisory, and product development group formed to bridge the gap between fundamental research and commercial products. We build upon our expertise in MEV and blockchains to pull the future of crypto into reality.

The “Liquidity Layer” team is developing a non-custodial wallet backend and multi-chain liquidity layer to offer users a native, chain-abstracted experience. This product aims to reduce the complexity of a multi-chain world to onboard the next billion users to crypto.

Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Community Management Lead responsible for building a vibrant and supportive tier-1 community around a specific crypto or blockchain project. This role involves engaging with the community, managing communication channels, and facilitating discussions to enhance the project's visibility and reputation.

Location

Flexible on Location - we are looking for candidates who can work in the London Time Zone hours. Some travel will be needed for conferences, events, etc as part of this role.

What you will do

  • Community Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact between the project/company and the crypto community. Foster a positive and inclusive community culture by encouraging active participation and collaboration among community members.
  • Team Building: Build out a community management team to support the community the necessary languages and hours
  • Communication Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy for the community, ensuring consistent and transparent messaging. Manage communication channels such as forums, social media, chat groups, and other community platforms.
  • Content Creation: Create and curate engaging content, including announcements, updates, articles, and multimedia, to keep the community informed and excited about the project. Work closely with our marketing and design teams.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from the community and relay it to the relevant teams within the organization, such as development, marketing, and product management.
  • Event Coordination: Organise and coordinate virtual or in-person events, such as AMAs (Ask Me Anything sessions), webinars, meetups, and conferences to connect with the community.
  • Advocacy and Evangelism: Identify and empower community advocates who can help spread positive word-of-mouth about the project. Encourage and support community-driven initiatives and projects.

Requirements:

  • High-level commitment: We are looking for someone who will live and breathe Liquidity Layer full-time for this lead role rather than someone working across multiple projects.
    • We do, however, need additional community managers in supporting functions, so feel free to reach out if you are interested.
  • Deep crypto presence: Highly active across the crypto space.
  • Vertical knowledge: Understanding of Telegram bots, DeFi, MEV, and the transaction supply chain.
  • Proven experience: Track record building a robust presence and managing a tier 1 crypto community.
  • Tools and analytics: Expert in utilizing analytics and tools for community engagement.
  • Organization and execution: Strategic planning and competent in growth, planning, and execution. You will lead by doing.
  • Soft skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience managing external communication of complex technical topics.
  • Native (preferred) or Fluent English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in hosting events
