Our model introduces resource locks to accounts on credible commitment machines. OneBalance is a framework for managing these Credible Accounts. The Role
We are seeking a world-class Blockchain Architect to play a crucial role in developing the OneBalance account model and our integrations with the ecosystem. This position requires a blend of deep blockchain knowledge and experience in developing high performance distributed system architectures.

What You’ll Do
- Architect and build new services to connect OneBalance account holders with the crypto ecosystem
- Design scalable systems to solve novel problems with modern cloud technology and industry best practices
- Be responsible for the security, safety, scale, operational integrity, and architectural clarity of these systems
- Articulate a long term vision for maintaining and scaling our backend systems and the teams running them
- Drive standardization in crypto protocols by designing and defining interfaces and standards
- Work closely with the OneBalance leadership and product team to set our strategy and roadmaps
- Mentor and train other team members and teams on smart contract and systems engineering best practices
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of blockchain development experience with a focus on Ethereum.
- Experience in account abstraction standards and rollup architectures
- Experience in cross-chain solver layer interactions
- Deep understanding of smart contract best practices and current industry patterns
- Deep experience of architecting complex distributed systems in the blockchain space
- Strong opinions (loosely held) on current developments in the Ethereum technical roadmap
- Interest and passion for contributing to the crypto ecosystem
- Self-driven in problem-solving, breaking down ambiguous work, and plotting a course of action
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments and maintain attention to detail.
- Experience working in a startup of less than 30 people
- Ability to lead by example and take responsibility for the outcome.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience writing Rust server code
- Experience in working with crypto wallets, bridging technologies, and an understanding of Layer 2 solutions and their integration into web applications
- Contributions to open source crypto projects
